I thought one of the joys of going to see football games, was the aroma of stale piss floating by the food outlets.

Also worrying whether your shoes were soaking up a multitude of delights.

Years ago I remember West Hams being really grim. And a couple of years ago going to Portsmouth was like stepping back in time and pissing against a brick wall.

One of my first memorys of Villa Park in the late 80s was seeing someone pissing in a sink, put me off washing my hands for years.

If it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you.

Meadow Lane had some atrocious portaloos in the early 80's. A wee in a shit filled bucket anyone?

Bristol Rovers had a pile of sand against one of the walls of the main stand in the 70's

I was always fascinated by the way in which you'd be queuing up outside to get in at some grounds and the piss streams would be flowing out of the ground onto the pavement. Wimbledon's Plough Lane really sticks in the memory in this regard. The bogs at the Hawthorns and the Sty were absolutely terrible as well - how appropriate.

Before the Leeds cup final there was a bloke trying to take a shit in a McDonalds sink, I don't know if he managed it, I left hurriedly.

Wembley for the 2000 Cup Final was just one big river of piss

It did however get the soles on my trainers all nice and clean
