My Godfather and my Dad's best mate since Dad moved up from South Wales in the late 50's.

When I first started going to the match he was one of my Dad's friends who took me under their wing and made me realise what a great club this was to support.   Couldn't stand the Blues and particularly the Albion.

Memories of happy afternoons on the Witton End and away games at Stoke and Forest in the Championship Year.

I also played for the cricket club that he and my Dad started, Stechford CC, now sadly defunct.  Best Umpire I ever had the pleasure of being officiated by, never gave me out lbw once ;)

RIP Owen
