Cuellar and Clarke should be playing. Other than that you cannot really argue with the selection. It says more about the state of our squad than McLeish's ability as manager.

so you think heskey offers more in midfield than ireland, bannan or jenas?

Generally, no, but Ireland's mad, Bannan might not be in the right state of mind to play, and Jenas is probably only 30-40 per cent fit.

And heskey couldnt trap a bag of cement!

I hate the fact he plays every week, the only reason people cut him slack is because of Heskey playing. I'm not even bothered about Heskey, Collins is our worst player imo

You could perhaps argue that Delph should be playing in midfield rather than Heskey, but there is also questions about his fitness, and he has hardly set the world alight so far this season.

Being comprehensively outplayed by Norwich City is not how I envisioned this afternoon going. We seem to be getting steadily worse week after week.

We are an indisciplined rabble. Shocking. Team is set up all wrong.

Heskey left wing - McLeish isn't doing himself any favours with these kind of tactics
