Hmm, I don't know about that. I just don't fancy us to get a result today, I can't see where any creativity will come from, unless N'Zogbia suddenly 'switches on'.

Thanks to whoever switched my name back!

Surely with Herd and Petrov in midfield he could afford to start with Ireland? I just can't understand this obsession with Heskey - when he came on last week he ambled around and did the square root of fuck all.

I suspect 4 conceded from corners in the last 2 games had an influence on his thinking.

Nail on head. Hate him, but Heskey is more use to us than most of the others in there. He holds it up going forward allowing us to get people forward, and defends it in our box.

I disagree, I think Heskey's presence in the team actually makes it more difficult for us to retain possession because of the direct approach we always always take with him in the team. Without the ball, we're more likely to concede corners and goals.

Giving the ball away far too much.

Hope we play better with ten men this weekend. Heskey at left wing ffs. Awful tactics from McLeish again.

Hutton and Nzogbia can hardly get any worse.

Nice to see Given come from a cross there.

We are really not a pretty team to watch anymore. Attritional and time to batten down the hatches me thinks.

Yep, it's looking like a 4-4-2, I think. I really don't think that's playing to Petrov's strengths at all, I hope Herd has plenty of energy!
