According to Ian Winter on Midlands Today just the legal niceties to go through and an official announcement 'early next week'.

Do they all stop at 5pm on a Friday?

Greeting from Toronto. I was hoping that by the time I got here, things would be sorted.

Oh well, I guess that we can wait until Wednesday if it saves on solicitors fees.

I hope they announce it soon.

I might well take a day off work on Monday.

Perhaps the whole nation could join with me in celebration....! ;-)

What are you doing here and for how long? I have some friends just arrive today and isn't the weather terrific?

Some of tomorrow's newspapers are reporting that the hold-up is because we think there is no compensation due since Norwich breached Lambert's contract by not granting him permission to talk to us.

That#s partly true but a middle ground will be met I'm sure. Or has been met.
For my part I'm listening to Coverdale Page and having a whiskey or three and enjoying the thought that we'e back on the road to good times.

Cheers! *raises glass*. I love all my Villa bretheren. I'm half cut and feeling the love.

Good.

Fuck them, if it saves us money and is their fault, I am all for it.

Hopefully we tell them bollocks if they want compo.

We shouldn’t have really paid the scum anything last season but I think we did to shut them up before it became ridiculous like most other things they are involved in.

Lambert resigned and the only reason the they rejected it is because they want the pay off.

In the end we’ll most likely end up paying out for our new manager (paying loads to and for managers seems to be what we do best), I just hope we don’t let Norwich take us for mugs like the noses
