hmm This surely means we'll get him now :)
Although Mark Hughes walked out on Fulham thinking he was going to the the Villa job couple of years ago.. nothing surprises me anymore.

His name doesn't fit great in the C&B army song. Better than Ole Gunnar Solskjær does though.

Might not scan as well as "Big Fat Ron's Claret and Blue Army", but should sound ok.

This is interesting, because if Norwich have been "refusing permission" all this time, it could explain the delay in the club appointing their first choice. I bet we still end up paying compensation too.

Wanted Lambert from day one (though was tempted by the thought of OGS, I must admit) as he was the standout contender.  Will be delighted if/when he gets it.

Interesting, if he does join (and I'm not counting my chickens) to see which players will stay and how he'll want to line up.

I imagine a big man up top and a proper dcm will be top of  the list. he played a diamond with norwicha lot I believe, though they also seemed to get a lot if crosses in?

Diamond could work well for the likes of Ireland at the tip, and delph / bannan on the left. Less sure where it leaves alby
