Herd in centre mid possibly? a 4-2-3-1 with Gabby and Nzogbia wide, Bannan in behind Bent.  Hopefully anyway.

I quite like that team. Hopefully, his place means that N'Zog has impressed in training.

I take it Delph is injured rather than completely dropped.

I sense the influence of Kevin MacDonald with the selection of Herd. Hopefully KMac's influence will see us passing the ball too.

That team has potentially got a good balance to it as it can work as a 4231, 433 or as a 442 with Gabby drifting wide to the side of the other side of the pitch compared to Nzogbia.

HUGE game for Herd though as there is no obvious replacement on the bench.

huge game for nzogbia this.

both teams going with two up front but neither team has a midfielder capable of getting hold of the ball. id expect a lot of ball hit direct to the frontmen by both teams.

good luck to chris herd in midfield. definitely mobile and combative enough anyway

Mulumbu is one of their best players and he is more or less in the team to do nothing but the above.

Herd's definately the type of player you want in a local derby. He certainly knows how to mix it up. Just hope he doesn't go over the top and get himself sent off.
