The first touch of a rapist combined with a head like a 50p piece, never good enough.

Good luck to him, though.

Probably found his level now. Goodluck to him,was never given a chance, but would never would've been good enough for us,another case of millions of wasted cash spent by a previous manager.

Nothing will ever convince me that he is a footballer, i'm still convinced he's an employee of Greggs who is taking part in the Faking It tv programme. Hapless painter and decorator Emile Heskey is having problems convincing me he's a footballer too.

If they play Villa in a friendly, he will probably score about 9.

He was shit.  Really, really shit.

Quite right. No dewy-eyed revisionism. He was a shockingly bad buy in the first place, but if he was going to work at all (big if) he had to start regularly as he was a confidence player - but he didn't because he was shit.

His signing was the first indication that the era of Lerner and O'Neil would not be everything we hoped it would be.  Having said that he seems a decent bloke so good luck to him.

Quite right.  That was the day I realised O'Neill wasn't going to be the manager to get us into the CL.

Yep, I was there and put the 4-1 to 4-4 scenario down to that substitution.

I always thought that his transfer was a consequence of MON wanting NRC from the Spammers and the clubs not being able to agree on his price; and that Marlene Deadwood was the makeweight. So, £13m for 2 distinctly average footballers. Makes Emule look like a bargain ...

If I were Marlon's agent I would be directing him towards Hollywood.   He would be a natural for scary movies.

The BBC has a quick video article on Marlons new career after football here.

Apparently he is into luxury car fitouts but I'm pretty sure he can also star in any live action Super Mario Brothers movie remake now.

It was the signings of people like Harewood along with Beye, Sidwell, Reo-Coker, Shorey etc.etc. its a pretty long list, that O'Neill saw fit to spend millions on plus big wages that put us on this horrendous road we have been going down the last 9 years.

O'Neill has alot to answer for and nothing delights me more than his Forest side losing every game they play currently.

Completely agree that was part of the problem Kimaster...and wasn't Heskey on ridiculous wages at the time too? The subsequent signing sprees by other managers only added more fuel to the dysfunctional fire.
