We need to be bringing someone on at half-time to move the ball around - Heskey off / BB on?

I'd like to see us persist with Ireland and Bannan, they really seem to connect.

Man City look like they've got one eye on next week's games. It's a big week for them. A 93rd minute equaliser is our best hope.

I think we should get Bannan on, Emile isn't really offering a great deal and we need a goal.

Bannan for Heskey. A no brainer, surely.

Quite why he started with Heskey and not Bannan is anybody's guess.

Because Bannan is carrying an injury and just played two difficult games in the last seven days?

If he's injured then he shouldn't be in the squad.  If he's fit, then as one of our best performers in recent games, he should have started.

After watching North West Derby on Skysports HD on Virgin Cable, and watching this game on streaming. My eye bleed.

Is streaming quality depend on PC or server or my connection.  Can you get good HD quality on streaming at all.

Good to get to HT just one down. Could have been worse - but could have been better if Gabby/Warnock had put that chance away. Agree we need to bring Bannan on for Heskey to give us more energy in midfield - would create room for Ireland too.  Also - could Bent have done better in preventing that corner getting across for their goal? Hard to tell on the stream I'm watching

Heskey has been pointless. apart from that we are doing pretty well. Delph having his best game in a while.

Fabian Delph is absolutely garbage, quite what anyone sees in him i have no idea. He gives the ball away every time he has it and has the touch of a baby elephant.

Not a bad first half, we just need to keep posession better and push a bit higher up the pitch as we're too deep.

I can see Bannan coming on, but I'd imagine it'll be for Ireland.  While it's still 1-0 he'll probably want to keep the team physically competitive and snatch a late equaliser.

Even if BB isnt up to 90 mins you dont have to replace him with EH,  playing this man totally kills the life out of our team.  He could have picked any other player in the squad just not him.

Think we are doing Ok, great work from Gabby to create the chance, great strength, only grumble there was he should have laid it of rather than the typical striker, when your covering that much ground at that kind of angle and giving a keeper like Hart that much chance to close down the angle, very little chance of scoring IMO

Heskey maybe should have made a tad more.

For me Delph is the problem he's making so many mistakes.

The only thing I would be concerned about is that Man City look like they are pacing out the game which say's to me they can step up a gear and destroy us as and when.

Bent needs to get more into the game and we need to make sure Gabby gives them more problems.

Ireland looking better every game..

See how it goes...
