Some % Villa: Yellow/Red Cards and the fines
« on: October 02, 2011, 08:49:08 PM »
Recently I heard from a girl I know who plays for the Stoke Womens team that the fines for yellow and red cards are the same acorss the board from grass roots to proffesionals. I don't know how true this is, but if it is, is it any wonder players don't care about the punishments?
The other thing is I think we should even raise the prices of cards up from the lower level, yesterday I had a player mouthing off at a decision he was nowhere near, I got him and the captain over and told him one more word and he was going in the book, he replied yeah whatever, like I care. Players just don't care about the punishments. I think we need to start hitting them where it hurts, certain players may never respect the referee, but they would care about paying 20 pound for a yellow every week

Yeah it is the same across the board at all levels of the game.

£8 a Yellow Card I believe.

Fuck me that will send shivers down the spines of the average £50K per week footballer

Whats the betting the clubs pay them not the players!
