Well, in fairness we haven't looked as able to keep the ball since Bannan went wide and we are going more direct to Heskey, but what a piece of brilliance from Gabby.

as i already said herd isnt a right back full stop, he was a fill in when we had no options. young was in the last year of his contract, he wanted to leave so we got what we could for him. beye is a waste of space.

for the money we had a available, yes hutton was the best we could get because we just arent an attractive team to top qaulity players at the moment

Isnt'a right back, full stop? He was a fill in and looked better than Hutton has.

It's nothing to do with the quality of players we can attract, Hutton doesn't even look good enough to be in the top flight, let alone playing for us.

Wes Brown, for example, cost one quarter of what Hutton did, and although not particularly brilliant, he is compared with Hutton.

villa are cutting wages and age of the squad, hutton is younger than brown both have played champions league football, i know which i would have gone with and i agree with mcleish

hutton will come good he just needs time.
