I didn't realise we had that bad a record against them at home!

They usually play their neat passing style of football and run us off the park!!!

He's bound to come good at some point, Risso. And wigan are a team he should get a lot of opportunities to run at.

It will be either 0-0. 1-1. 2-2. 44-44. 1024-1024 or 11,200,234-11,200,234.

Funnily enough I dreamt this last night.
We were coasting to a comfortable 11,200,234 - 11,200,233  victory then Dunne put through his own goal.

If we can't win this one, we are certainly in for a long difficult season.

Despite our poor record against Wigan at VP, we have to beat teams like this just to remain mid table.

What I find hard to understand is AM's statements about protecting the younger players like Bannan. Other clubs have young players in their teams and don't seem to to rest them like Villa do. Bannan is one of our our better perfoming players yet he gets taken off on Sunday.

I see he's attracting the attention of Fergie as a potential January signing, so yet again we could be losing one of our academy developers and you couldn't blame him if ManUre come calling.

Another draw for me, 1-1 I reckon.

Yes, agree a draw or defeat as the last few games we've played against Wigan at Villa Park. Still no victory! If we score, N'Zogbia to be the goalscorer.

Bannan signed a 3 and a half year contract in Nov 2010 .At the time I didn't think it was long enough. No doubt we'll bring him to his full potential he'll refuse to sign a new contract and then Fergie will steal him from us with a year to go on his contract.Sounding familiar ??

Bannan's still only 21 isn't he?  I'm sure if we stuck a 4 or 5 year contract in front of him this season he would sign it.  Lets hope the board/management are on top of this.

2-1 win.

Must win, and just as importantly must play well.  NO excuses not to against a depleted Wigan side.
