Gazza, Burke, Johnson and Carruthers look real gems for the future.

we have a 15 and 16yr old on the wings. This lad Grealish is causing a bit of a stir too. I'm going to look forward to watching this on AVTV when it's available.

More of the same in the second half, gardner running the show, their keeper making some cracking saves to keep the score down to something resembling semi respectability. A mixture of a very impressive Villa team and pretty ropey turks. We really did play some great, fast paced possession football with nearly all the team looking comfortable on the ball.

I wonder if any of the first team were watching.

Yes - definitely. He was head and shoulders above everything else on the pitch (literally size wise too) and you can tell he is held in high esteem by the other players, as he was the first person most looked to pass it too.

Very enjoyable evening.
