Oh dear.   Being turned over at HOME by Bolton reserves,  whose first team cannot win for shit.   It doesn't bode well.

The problem is the midfield has not got a tackle in them anywhere. Or a fucking engine. At which point you are inviting disaster. Bannan is a good ball player, but Petrov and Ireland are not enforcers. Ireland needs to be fucked off for a footballer that can tackle in the middle of the park.

As I say we are a joke now, we are being run into the ground with frankly bewildering negligence. You cannot cut back in the manner we have and hope to have a prayer.

Irreparable damage will be done by Christmas, so by the time we need to change the team around it will be too late.

Why did we get lumbered with a poor billionaire when Man City got a stupidly rich trillionaire?  We are going to relegated this year, I am pretty sure of it.

I don't bet on us to lose or get relegated out of principle but I suspect that might be a very good bet and decent odds to boot. I certainly think we are going to be much nearer the lower end of the table than people think...

Brian your views are usually pretty spot on, but Makoun can't tackle to save his life. Should be playing for us I agree, but alongside Reo Coker with someone in front that can playmake. As it is we just have total shite.

Wasn't McLeish brought in to win these sort of games. What a fuck up.

Was he? I thought he was brought in to do a mediocre job on the cheap while talking us down to lower expectations. My mistake.

Lets be honest...we knew all along that when we came up against decent opposition we would struggle...

I don't want to let the Carling Cup go. It'd be nice to do it two years in a row
