Although we have had an unbeaten league run I was hoping we would have a good go at this competition. It's going to be a long tough season methinks.

Mcleish is not a c***, he seems like a nice enough bloke. Unfortunately he's been left hanging by the board.
He picked a light weight midfield,  he sets out the tactics,  he motivates the team.

What bulldozing options did he have in midfield?

Considering we accepted all bids made for our players this summer I don't think the board are too bothered about 'backing' their manager with the players he needs.
