I think i would as well. I'm a big Bannan fan, i love watching the kid play, but i think he's more effective coming off the bench for the last 20 mins at the moment.

Got to be a good 2-0 win with a Gabby brace...

Well, without Heskey our manbager might put out a half decent team that might even win.

Yes I'm with you. Ireland the senior player with Bannan snapping at his heels to take his place. You just have to hope Ireland wants it.

Talked to a few fans who were watching the last game in a pub in Wylde Green, SC.  Their unanimous verdict on Ireland was, 'what's the point of playing him, he's useless.'

I'm still hoping he can contribute.  Come on Stephen, let's do the 'player of the year' schtick again!

Villa to win 5 - 1 and Ireland to score and figure in at least three of the other goals!

We have a better keeper, better defenders and better strikers.

Their central midfield is far superior to ours though.

Hopefully this game won't be decided in midfield.

I'd go with

Given

Hutton
Collins
Dunne
Warnock

Albrighton
Delph
Petrov
N'Zogbia

Bent
Agbonlahor

Let's go 4-4-2. Give bent some support and a bit more service.

No way Ireland deserves a start after Bannan's recent form and Albrighton's assist on Saturday.  Can't make up my mind which one I'd prefer to start on Sat, probably both and rest Delph. 1 nil Vill, Bent.
