It is a shame we doesn't have him a player. He would give us the energy lacking in our team. He give me a lot of buzz to watch. is he last exciting player we have upfront for a long time.

Did you miss Dwight Yorke, Paul Merson or Ashley Young?

Yeah, because the one thing that Gabby lacks is energy.

Just heard on 5 Live that Doncaster Rovers have put their manager on "gardening leave" and Deano is to take over the job.

Bit of a surprise in the Yorkshire press about this but I believe Deano will do all right.

A true gent. My mom wrote a letter to Villa park years ago complaining i had not recieved anything from his fan club for a while. Two or three days after she sent it he called my direct at home. I couldn't believe it. He was so nice. We chatted for a fair while and he invited me into the changing rooms to meet the whole team before the Norwich match (think we lost 3-2). I have said on here before about it. The whole squad then were so nice, Ray Houghton and Dalian Atkinson were really funny guys and Nigel Spink walking round with nothing on will always haunt me. Any way, a top player, a top guy and really wish him well. Football just aint the same any more.

Nice to see he got off to a good start yesterday and gave Donny their first win. Maybe a future Villa manager

Merson is a playmaker not striker. Yorke is good but prefer Deano and Agbonlahor exciting - ha ha ha
