Faceless performance today, once again.  I would be ecstatic if he could find his form, but there just doesn't seem to be the willingness from him to get involved.  I would be happier to see Marc playing every week, he has his faults but at least he would play with passion.

Agree. When a player is struggling confidence wise, the minimum is to work hard and tough it out. He doesn't do that and that is shameful. I thought he was an embarrassment today and rather too keen to get off the pitch.

I agree about Albrighton (although criticised by certain quarters). However, some plebs stated before the season that it was a 'job done' mentality signing N'zogbia to replace Downing, with Albrighton replacing Young.

The fact that we have played at times with neither on the pitch this season, means we haven't properly replaced either of those players, and it shows.

He's a piss poor replacment for any of the players we lost this summer. I said he had 1 good game in 10 but i'm beginning to think i seriously overestimated his consistency

I'm sure we are going to get the "well it took Downing x amount of time to settle in" fact is N'Zogbia will never be the player that Young or Downing are and in fact its unfair to the player to brandish him with that level, he simply hasn't got it in him, not every wide player out there is an Ashley Young some blokes are just very average players, Newcastle, Wigan, if he was anywhere near as good as some imagined he would already be in top flight.

Shocking again, I wasn't wrong when I started this thread, I'm hoping we'll all be singing his praises come may but I doubt it

Correct. He has been a total waste of money and needs to sort it. I don't want to see his transfer fee / wages pissed down the drain. He must come good soon.

I've seen him be a good player at other clubs, so I won't write him off yet. But the reality is replacing Young and Downing with N'Zogbia is unacceptable.

I've been out in Wigan tonight with three Wigan fans (hence the language), and none of them had a good word to say about him.

Despite the fact they would have gone down last season without him and that their fans at VP the other week game him a fair ovation when he came on?

That said, I still think he's been dismal for us so far.

edited because I cant spell!

He was outstanding for much of the season last year for them, so agreed. I think he can be an asset but he needs to start performing.

A night out in Wigan eh Risso ? - must have taken at least 20 minutes to cover the night spots?

There's the Wigan Casino :)

N'Zogbia is not playing in a passing team, we're a long ball outfit - he's not fitting in with the 'style' of play we have adopted.

He's coming to deep, I feel. We need to get him on the ball in the last third where he can take players on but at present he's got 2 or 3 players in from of him every time he gets on the ball.
