Isn't this just typical, he's had 5 games must be shite kind of thing we're famous for. If he'd high fived Mcleish for taking him off and said after the game he was desperate to get on the bench and fuck about with his i-Pad i'd have been a bit more upset. He's settling in and getting fit at the same time, how about cutting one of our own some slack FFS.

If he had put the same eagerness on the pitch which he put into throwing his moody strop going off it, he might be looked on more favourably.

Of course it happens, that's not the argument. If he was sweating through his arse through effort, I wouldn't have minded his mutterings.

Surely you have to justify your place on the pitch. At the moment, we seem to be playing him because we have no one else (or the manager doesn't trust anyone else). It's obviously not fair on him to just chuck him in the mix and expect him to create something every touch.

Albrighton has been getting stick recently, but at least he set up our best chance against Wolves, and Gabby's goal aginst Everton.

I've said, on this site and a couple of other forums, that this was a worry for me with him signing.
I still feel that Aiden McGeedy would have been a better choice.

However, I'm sure he'll come good and must be given time to settle in.

Yesterday during the first half, he got given the ball on the right hand side and had loads of space to run into, but instead decided to try and slip the ball in between two Everton players and lost it. It was very sloppy, he should have been trying to outrun his marker.

He'll come good i'm sure, but he's not much of a goal threat at the moment.

I love the "needs time to settle" argument, just like Aguero and Suarez need time to settle, imagine how good they will be when they have settled.  Zog has played in England for years, this excuse of "needs time" is bullcrap, if players have ability they "settle" very quickly.

Are you really trying to compare two world class players playing in teams who are dominating games with possession at 75% and having 20 shots per game against our 1 shot on target and very little ball?

 Ask any Man U fan what they thought of Vidic and Evra for the first 6 months. Most wondered what the hell Fergie had wasted millions on.

I don't know your age or circumstance but I'm assuming you've never had a career change that involved relocating? It takes time to find your feet, and different people will have different timescales to do so.

And that's before you take into account what playing role he's being asked to adapt to. It may be something he's not used to doing, it may be he hasn't quite hit an understanding of the kind of runs Bent will make etc etc.

I accept he hasn't hit form yet, but I can guarantee you one thing - he will perform much better with the Holte getting behind him than he will with you booing every mistake he makes.

I think he will be a good player for the Villa given time (how much depend upon results)
