First half? - we didn't seem to get going at all!
The back four all looked slow and lethargic.
N'Zog disappointing.
Bannan - looks the business on the ball but when defending he still looks lightweight.
Great to see Albrighton put in the cross for the 2nd goal.
Great to see Gabby defy the critics with a goal, playing more centrally late in the game.
Bent must be frustrated as hell - really well marked by Distin today.
Warnock - drifting back into his bad old ways. Very poor today.
Hutton? - pretty anonymous.

Star man? - Petrov. Grafted, motivated and also delivered. Not a 60-minute man today; a full-on, 94-minute man.

On Warnock, I have not see any of the game from today but have seen the other 3 this season, and the man is a complete liability of a defender. Dives in, often out of position and whinges like there is no tomorrow. Sooner we are shot of him the better, I really hope Edna is the business in Jan!

Very lucky the ref didn't punish Wee Barry for bringing down Baines in the area. That was a definitely a pen.

I think the ref would've gave it if Baines had'nt gone down in about 7 different stages.

There is something about me and my mates going to Everton. After all of us being thrown out last year, my mate after the game basically got shoulder barged to the floor for no reason. Luckily for the bloke our mate was behind us on his own and the other eight of us didnt see it straight away. The old bill to be fair were straight on top of him and did come over and say that his season ticket has been took off him and do we want to make a complaint. My mate said he cant be arsed. It was my 12th time to Everton today and iv had aggro pretty much everytime iv been there.

Petrov was woeful and looked miles off the pace. A total passenger. I feel for Delph; he needs someone to help him out, he's too inexperienced to be filling in for Petrov as one of a midfield 2.

Er, Bannan was put into the centre where there was a complete mismatch in terms of height with Fellaini. It was only when he went wide that he improved.

Absolutely don't agree, mate. IMO Dunne has returned to be the average player that he's always been, he's probably the most error prone player in the world. Did you see the way he conceded the first goal to Osman completetly unmarked? It was comic.

If the 'vertically challenged' Bannan and Delph both play in the midfield, then they are going to get utterly dominated in the air. Fab in particular was Fellaini's bitch all afternoon yesterday.

To compensate, we'd need to play Magic Johnson just behind them.

Maybe he played well the rest of the game, that's typical of Dunne after making a crucial error, but in occasion of the goal he kept to follow Osman, then he "forgot" to stop whereas Osman simply stopped and had all the time to control the ball and shoot absolutely unmarked. And we are talking about Osman, not Leo Messi.

Initially it looked like Cahill was going towards the touchline for a pull back and Dunne turned for that so was wrong footed and couldn't react in time. As with any goal conceded there are things that might have been improved on but to call it a "crucial error" is extremely harsh.

Archie, I think you need to get over your issues with Dunne. He had a great game yesterday. I take it you didn't see any of the Ireland game midweek v Russia.
His perfromance was even lauded by Paul McGrath as being one of the best he had ever seen.
Dunne was gash last season but he was not alone in that was he ?
He didn't make the Premier League team of the season the previous season for nothing.
