It is a sad indictment of the way that football has gone over the last two decades, that many on here determine the size of a club by such things as turnover, size of the "fan" base in Malaysia or how many trophies their oligarch benefactor has bought them in a relatively short timespan. I stand by by earlier post: no club has a richer history, tradition or greater influence on the development of professional football in this country than us.

Our impact on the game through it's early days and fighting through some of its mid-20th century growing pains makes us head and shoulders above some of the as-mentions clubs. Spurs, Toon, Chelsea.. please.
