I read somewhere as part of the deal, we're playing Shamrock at their ground at some point, presumably pre-season. Not sure how true it is though.

Yes please.

Seconded! Hopefully we don't lose 1-0 this time! As for young Enda, Ireland could have done with him last night. I thought Ward was dreadful at left back.

He was poor, then again alot of them were. Dunne was o.k. Given too but he was lucky to get away with his throwing the ball out,it slipping from his hands and then picking it up again. Silly free kick to give away.

Yup, was a stupid free kick to give away and Dunne was solid but caught badly for pace one in the second half. Given's groin seemed to be troubling him again too. Here's hoping it doesn't cause any problems for club or country this season.

Pedant Alert: Shamrock Rovers are never shortened to ''Shamrock''. It's ''Rovers'' or the full thing.

Sad news for Enda.

Surprised the site isn't more specific than just "a family member".

It'll be "There's Only One Enda Stevens". There's no way our younger fans will allow a quadro-syllabic player to enter the pitch without being serenaded by that repetative drone.

the new Keith Fahey perhaps - McLeish brought in Fahey from the relative obscurity of St Pats to be a key player in Bham's promotion a couple of years back. Fahey had got rave reviews from a performance against Hertha Berlin is some Europa League qualifier and Enda Stevens seems to have followed the same path into McLeish's radar.
Fahey is a derided player on here but I've always found him a tidy player though certainly lightweight. Has done well for Ireland too in this campaign with the winner off the bench in Armenia and other tidy appearances in Slovakia where he made the goal for St.Ledger and a decent cameo at home to Macedonia. He is out for the game tomorrow though.

Get the story right.

Agent Fahey was on our books, made one first team appearance before we sent him off to St Pats where he sat tight and waited for his mission. Our 'sleeper' was finally spotted by McLeish where after he kept his head down, not grabbing the headlines, the Noses thought he was a great find.

In May of this year Agent Fahey got this long awaited mission, it was to be carried out in the final day of the season at White Hart Lane. Agent Fahey waited until the 93rd minute before getting a vital touch that deflected the ball into the Rags net, sending them down for what hopefully will be forever.

You say "Fahey is a derided player on here", I'd say he's a bloody legend.
