You can't blame him wanting to go. Hull is one of the nicest places in Britain to live, with charming beach front bars, top quality restaurants and it's very own micro-climate that at times makes you feel like you're on the Cote d'Azur.
And Championship League football too.

If you're reading this Habib - I envy you. Good luck.

If Beye goes, I'll buy back the kidney I gave away in celebration at buying him in the first place. Then I'll stamp on it and feed it to the polar bears at Dudley Zoo.

Great servant to the Club, I trust we'll be giving him a testimonial.

Despite our lack of options i think its wise to see beye leave. He did well enough in his rb and cb roles but its time to move him on

Good to see there's talk of a permanent reminder, but who needs a statue? I think his prominent position in the club's brilliant Villa 50 series this summer stands as a fitting monument to one of Villa's finest post-war players. It'll be tough if he departs for The Stadium of Fish, but at least we'll always have those wonderful and plentiful reserve team memories. Legend, in this instance, is the right - and perhaps only - suitable shorthand.

Maybe this sounds hippie, but we've enjoyed the services of Habib Beye for several seasons now, wouldn't it be egoistical to keep him, rather than let another set of football fans experience not only the wonder of Habib Beye at right back, but the magic of Habib Beye at right back ... in your team?

Why? Why oh why?

I'm definately not renewing the season ticket that I didn't renew because I didn't have one to renew in the first place.

I saw this coming, didn't renew, and am now utterly vindicated.

A sad day. Good luck at Hull, Habib, you will be missed.

But why?

He's 33 (soon to be 34 in October). Do you really want to see him spending the best years of his career at another club?

I would rather lose Bent than Beye. This is the final straw .......
