Off Twitter.
The Everton manager can confirm they can't even afford a rumour.

Could potentially be a great time to play them now Arteta is leaving.  We'll obviously be on a high with signing Jenas and Hutton..... :-)

Beckford and Arteta out...no-one in. Blimey and I thought we were tightening up. Good time to play them, get a goal up and see the crowd going ballistic at them...

Now they've lost their best player, 2 shite forwards and signed 2 unknows on loan...we need to go there and get 3pts.

0-2 Villa

The fans are going to be absolutely gutted. The mentality in that dressing room is going to be shot. Hopefully, we can go in there and just dominate the game. This is our opportunity to blow up for 4 or 5 goals.

3-1 mighty's.

Scoring some f*(cking goals would be nice.  Put Bannan in for Christ's sake!

I think we will keep a clean sheet at Goodison but we will need to have much better supply to Bent. Maybe we should stick in Bannan for Delph or Jenas? We lacked creativity against Wolves? Surely Heskey's days as a central midfielder are now over?

0-1 Villa.

2-0 us.

A glancing header from Gabby in the first half, and a shot lovingly curled into the top corner fron Jenas, late on.

I've gone for a draw, but if we do score first it won't be a nice place to be for Everton's players, manager or board, so we might get the win.

Only difference between us and Everton is that their fans back their manager and blame the board for what happened in the transfer window. AV fans are in the dilemma of which of these to blame first.

Two average teams. One team had an uninspiring transfer window the other had a kick in the nuts of a window.

0-1 Bent
