Negatives:  Defense worryingly exposed down the flanks, No tempo or urgency to our play, No creativity in the final third.

Positives:..................1st half has finished.

we are too happy to give the ball away in the last 3rd, so we do not create any sustained pressure, total absence of movement does not help,

As the sky pundits are saying, heskey our best player and involved inall our best moments. I see it doesn't stop people wanting him taken off though!

I wouldnt expect any ht changes
bent needs to be included in play more.
Petrov loves a long but wayward  shot.
herd has done well i think.
Maybe we can be galvanised otherwise its a one goal match

Our set up doesn't seem to suit Bent that much.

Well he's the fulcrum of our play. However, our style of play is not exactly effective, and that style is dictated by his presence.

Which is barking because he's our one genuine quality player.

Definitely get Bannan or Ireland on for Heskey.  Heskey might work hard, but his control and passing are woeful at times.  Probably Makoun on for Delph as a sending off looks reasonably likely (the tackle for the booking was a ridiculous challenge to make).

Mcleish needs to give em a bloody good talkin to.

I've barely noticed Bent.

N'Zogbia was the only player for us in that first half who showed some creativity and taking defenders on. Petrov and Delph have alright in the middle but if we bring in Makoun id like to think we would keep the ball and able to press forward

I don't think Heskey is doing us any favours, we need to get him off and get a footballer on.
