Would've been nice to take Bent off at some point.  Should we go 4-4-2 with Fonz and Weimann?  Too risky?

From the BRMB coverage it sounds like we're playing well and fairly calmly, but Hereford are just defending like, well, lions. Come on Villa..!

Mcleish is smart he only kept 3 players from weekend, meaning if it were to go to extra time he can replace them...

1 upfront is pathetic against Hereford, just keep telling myself he is trying to acustomise everyone to the system the first team play.

Wouldn't like this to be 0-0 with 10 minutes left. Come on Villa FFS!!!

I think two young strikers with a point to prove would be a good idea actually. The alternative doesn't appear to be working!

Hopefully they'll get tired and we'll create more clear cut chances. Just gotta take em.

How do you know?  Are you at the game?  Can Bannan and Ireland work in the same team?  I know a lot wanted Makoun, Delph and one of these two to be our midfield.

Thing is I hope McLiesh don't throw this away, we should be going for this, we aren't to big for this competition
