Uninspiring to say the least, but not a defeat.

On the basis of that performance it's going to be a long season.
Only positive is a clean sheet.

Could be worse I suppose..but we need more creativity..nothing much getting up to forwards..
Given is great acquisition..and we need him!

How did we play in the first half? Better than the second half hopefully...

a good away point, defence looked good, midfield very average and no service to Bent. Heskey, usual shit......Given kept us in it and Dunne and Collins looked strong. Have to happy with a clean sheet and an away point.

Heskey out for Bannan, Makoun or Ireland and that team looks much better.

Before the match, most of us would have been happy with a point, and we got that.

However, if I had just woken up from a year-long coma and someone told me that MON was still manager and had coloured his hair red, I would have believed him.

Artless McCrap.

Reminded me of the days we played WM when most others played 4-2-4.

Too often the player in possession was left isolated as others did little but queue up in the middle.

Snow on it or more snow on it.  Good options.

Hold on a minute, we've just got an away point with a clean sheet against a team that has been playing since the end of June. As an aside, Liverpool have spent how much for a home point against Sunderland?

SHOCKINGLY BAD!!  >:(

Playing 3 strikers doesn't mean you will score more goals when you not one player in that Villa 11 had a clue how to pass and move. Every ball from defence was hit high and hopeful to Heskey, Bent was on the shoulder of Senderos numerous times but no one in that team has any vision or technical ability to hit a slide pass. That was seriously worse than watching a game under MON! N'Zogbia had a stinker nut considering it was his debut I'll let him off and Given was by far our best player.

Makoun, Bannan, Ireland and Albrighton have to start in expense of Agbonlahor, Heskey, Petrov and Delph.

I fear already and I'm not even joking.
