Nothing controversial here... just that every time you see something Villa around and about in our daily lives, post it here. It could be anything... I'll go first.

BBC Midlands newsreader tonight had a claret and blue tie.

When Graham Taylor was England manager he was offered membership of the MCC. He said he preferred to wait his turn.

When I go down the pub at lunchtime to watch the cricket I'll be wearing my Third Division Away replica shirt. You know that natty yellow with blue trimmings jobby.
Oh and by the way, for anyone living in my locality a certain hostelry will be showing tomorrows match live. ;)

[I was watching on tv last night and kept thinking I could see Sid in the crowd behind one of the wickets. I had had a few beers though so might be wrong

When you say you think you saw Sid "in the crowd behind one of the wickets." Do you mean tell us he fields in the slips for India?  :o

That's strange my last post has turned up as a quote from Robbo 1874.
Don't try to sue me Robbo I'm a poor pensioner and the judge will probably make you pay me!!

Through choice?  Or are you being tight and that's the only clothes he has to wear?

I live in a small village near Kidderminster. When I took my dog for a walk yesterday I went past the all-weather sports pitches where some 6 year olds were having some football coaching. One of them was wearing a Villa top.
