I see that the 'Nam v Swindon game is now back on after late night police consultations.

It would have been a bit of an embarrassment to the authorities if the only game called of on the weekend, other than Spurs, was in Cheltenham.... home of GCHQ

Travelling by train S Wales to Paddington and just when you thought it couldn't becomne more difficult the district and circle lines are closed between there and earls court !
Arrive in Paddington at 11.33 so any earlier kick off than 1, i dont think we will  make it..gutted

I'm glad that you posted this.

I was doing a bit of research to find you an alternative route and only then found out that the District/Circle from Paddington to Hammersmith is closed as well.

I was planning to drive up early, park in Hammersmith and tube up to Shepherds Bush for the morning. I guess that I'll have to re-think my plans.

As for your own situation, sorry mate but after looking at the TFL website, you're stuffed. Its going to be complicated, whatever you decide to do.

Are you committed to the train ?

If not, M4/A4 to Hammersmith and then walking (foot might be faster than the bus) could be a better option

We'll probably just go to the Rocket, standard (ie crap) wetherspoon's but right by the river with a beer garden and very close to the bridge for the stroll to the ground.
