he doesnt get in the German side now does he? Not sure if he makes the squad.

He was omitted from the 2010 world cup squad.

I didn't specify when they were, I said I've seen him in this league more than occasionally. In other words, quite a lot for Aston Villa and several times for West Ham. I also saw a few Germany games with him involved a few years ago now.
You're not seriously going to expect me to forget everything I thought about him at Villa are you?

If there is an improvement, from what I have seen, it's marginal at best.

He was the original Sidwell, with the VERY occasional wonder goal.

If we base it on the last 18 months:

Injured for 6 months at West Ham
Doesn't make the German squad
Plays in a relegated team and doesnt stand out

Quite.

Anyway, I think I've said enough about this guy. Its not like I disliked him or anything, I just dont rate him.
I doubt there's anything in a return to Villa and I hope there isn't because I dont think it would work out.

Nuff said, as they say.

Same here.
I think he's a really decent bloke and he provided us with the odd nice memory, but he wasn't good enough then and he isn't good enough now.

As said previously, if he had no Villa history, people would be unanimously against signing him.

Nuff said, as they say.

Okay, Stan Lee.

Of course im not expecting you to forget everything you thought of him when he last played for us but that was quite some time ago thats all and just wanted to get a feel of how often you saw him play to make a critical analysis of him as a player.

He can want all he likes.
I want to jump in a bathful of Swarfega with Sara Falkland, but it isn't going to happen.

At least that's what the police said anyway.

From what I've read about his time at West Ham he appeared to be one of the better performers, can't say I've seen much of him playing for them to be honest.  You have to bear in mind that he had a long injury lay off and then was thrust back into a failing West Ham team.

We could do with Sendo coming on to give his assessment.

For all the "we dont want Hitzlesperger back at villa", this may cheer you up if Harry can work his charm....

'Arry wants him?
I reckon that's his agent, who also says that Fulham, Blackburn and Stoke want him.

I agree but I'd prefer Kirsty Gallacher or Natalie Sawyer.

You're probably right.  I mean agents do have a habit of talking rubbish e.g. NRC's agent claiming offers from Italy etc and then he's suddenly been linked to WBA and is close to signing.

Hayley McQueen all the way!!! Always wary of stories of players stating what club they want to join. Didn't Kanu love everything about villa at one stage during DOL's reign. Strangely enough when nobody else seemed to want him
