This is Heroes & Villains remember. Left of left.
You could have fooled me, there are plenty of Tories on this site.
More than Labour supporters, for sure.

I don’t know about that, but I think the perception comes from a coincidence between the most frequent posters also being a group of moaning old Trots, so we get the impression that the site’s almost entirely left leaning.

Says the man with six thousand posts.

Which clearly means I spend too much time on here on the firm's dime, but Mr Feltcher is rocking three times my number!
Yes, but I don't work and haven't for the last 12 months.

Cameron may or may not be a decent enough bloke on a personal level and he may or may not be a genuine Villa supporter but because he is the leader of a party that stands for virtually everything I loathe in society and politics, every time I see a picture of him in a Villa shirt I cringe.

Summed up perfectly.

in truth I thought that about Labour by the end of Blair/Brown. It's not the same Labour as it was when I lived there where you felt they understood the working masses.

Historically, they had a much closer link to the blue collar than the Conservatives ever did. Certainly, more so in the 70's and 80's when I was growing up. Are you claiming they never had such association?

I'd have wanted to vomit if Blair, Brown or Milliband wore the shirt.
I hate the thought of any politician wearing our colours.

they are regular people though as well. You can hate them for their politics, but it doesn't mean that aren't allowed to have the same passions as anyone else. I have no idea how much of a Villa fan Cameron is, and quite frankly I don't care. If he wants to wear a Villa PJ set to bed, it's his business as much as he should be allowed to go out for a run wearing what he wants without someone taking a picture and having it blasted all over the internet.

Come on Toronto, he's a PR man, everything is a photo opportunity for him.

Maybe that was Dunne.  Hopefully on the first lap of a pre-season run.

honestly Chris? What's he got to gain from wearing a Villa top? Do you really think anyone outside of Villa fans, and some noses give a shit? That photo has been totally and utterly forgotten by the entire world except for a few of us internet warriors still discussing it. That photo likely didn't make the news at any level, anywhere.

again, I think we're looking deeper into that we need to. If he really wanted to be a man of the people Dave he'd have a Tamworth top on ;)

He'd just get taken for a homeless tramp in one of them.
