Personally i woudn't vote for any of the parties. they're all corrupt and/or incompetant. Still, out of the three i can't imagine anyone seeing an inbred, borderline retard chinless wonder like Cameron and thinking "hmmm, he'd make a good leader........." As the saying goes your get the government you deserve and while fuckwits still have the right to vote we will continue getting crap goverments like the last 40 years

Genuine question Greg, based on your above comment. Do you believe voting should be restricted to people of a certain level of intelligence? I'm trying to work who you class as fuckwits.

Well we all know there is a certain parts of the electorate who will vote labour/conservative/Libs whoever the leader is. They could elect a cuddly toy as leader and they would still get hundreds of thousands voting for them. I used to vote when i was younger and naive but i see very little difference between any of them now and really looking at "Call me Dave" Cameron, Milliband who seems to have difficulty speaking coherently and of course Nick "sell out my principles for a bit of power" Cleg, i find it hard to believe anyone with any sense would vote for them. I abstain because at least you're not actively damaging your own country.

Can't be arsed to go to the Villa, a trip to the polling station is too much trouble. Do you actually do anything other than whinge?

Going by your comments, Greg, it seems that there could have been leaders before 1970 or so whom you rate.  I know they didn't go out jogging back then, but staying with the spirit of the thread - who would have been ok being photographed in a Villa shirt?  No only Prime ministers, let's open it up!  I'm  going for Harold Wilson, Foreign Secretary David Owen (pre Limehouse) and Barbara Castle!

greg, how exactly are you making a difference? A lot of people who complain about the world today might have valid points, but most of then don't do a damn thing about it. Yes, there are fuckwits that have a right to vote, but there are good people that don't vote, and fuckwits that complain all day about the current system and never stand up to make a difference. What are you doing about it?

Although David Owen might be a bit late - I think he's early-mid 70's.

Think I'll go with Elvis!

Just as I would have been physically sick at the image (or thought) of Margaret Thatcher in a Villa shirt I'm as equally disturbed by a self confessed "child of Thatcher" in one. It's all part of his (he's just a normal guy) act - as staged as that video blog from his home. He's a dangerous tosser that is lining the pockets of his rich school chums, whilst his policies will have a long lasting negative effect on the vast majority of people.  He's one of the last people I want to see in a Villa shirt coming just  behind Harold Shipman.

what exactly do you suggest i do? Really.... I don't believe in the current system so i don't participate in it. If there was a decent party to vote for i would but there isn't. As they say, if you don't vote you can't complain. Equally you can't be blamed for it either

What I want to know was who was the guy in the Villa top standing next to Prince William in Quebec City? With all the pomp and ceremony of the royal visit, it was good to see one very smartly dressed man.

Much how I feel as politics has shifted to the middle ground it has become bland and mainly about window dressing.
Millions and millions of people agree as voting figures reduce with every election.

Do you just sit at home, in your bedroom, rocking back and forth covered with a blanket murmuring "Its all shite!" at literally everything you experience in the world ?

You sir are a nilhist.

Ashes to ashes, funk to funky
We know that Greg Nash's a junkie
Strung out in heaven's high
Hitting an all-time low

Would you have the same objections if he played a game of keepy-uppies with McLeish or claimed he used to spend most weekends on the Holte cheering on Tony Daley ? Or would that be ok, and just what a 'normal guy' who went to public school would do ?

I would have exactly the same objection if he played a game of keepy-uppies with any of our past or future managers as I object to him using the club for his own PR purposes.

It would be interesting to hear him speak more about his alleged support - if he has spent every other weekend in the directors box cheering on Tony Daley, Tony Morley or even Tony Dorigo at least it would add some validity to his "I'm a Villa fan story". As his job is basically spin and lies I know he does have a "story" to hand, how true that "story" is, I fear is an entirely different matter.

Just  to recap, he has to do the "I'm just a normal bloke" who just happened to go to Public School, to play down The Bullingdon Club "Cameron's Cronies" photo

http://iconicphotos.wordpress.com/2010/03/14/the-bullingdon-club/

Interestingly the photo is now banned in the national media

This is Heroes & Villains remember. Left of left.
You could have fooled me, there are plenty of Tories on this site.
More than Labour supporters, for sure.

I don’t know about that, but I think the perception comes from a coincidence between the most frequent posters also being a group of moaning old Trots, so we get the impression that the site’s almost entirely left leaning.

Says the man with six thousand posts.

Which clearly means I spend too much time on here on the firm's dime, but Mr Feltcher is rocking three times my number!

As soon as I saw the story it was pretty obvious the anti-tory comments would soon follow.

I do wonder who somepeople would think is worthy to be a Villa fan.

Perhaps the lefties would be happy to see comrad Stalin in claret and blue

Can't you just be happy to see the Villa getting some much needed PR
