Disliked as he is on here , can anyone think a Prime Minister has enough time to follow Villa like we do ?

I am just proud that he follows Villa alongside others who get the same treatment like Prince William.

Well done DC.

As ever, time to point out this is the same David Cameron who always said he wasn't a Villa supporter.

Would that be the same David Cameron I saw on tv telling the world and Adrian chiles he is a villa fan and William dugdale took him there in his younger days- sir William being a close relative of the young Cameron.

If it was Tony Blair 5 years ago it would have been on the front cover of H & V, you should know how it is here by now. No Tories allowed !

Absolutely mate.....

I think if Blair was a Villa fan and had made the same sort of "I saw Wor' Jackie play" bollocks about, let's say Johnny Dixon, he'd received well-deserved ridicule.

Gordon Brown, on the other hand, is a genuine sports fan, had a serious eye injury as result of playing sport, and knows his stuff about Raith Rovers.  I could easily imagine that were he a Villa fan, the student protests of 1968 would have been abandoned in favour of fighting the cause that actually resulted in an overthrowing of the old order.

This still a conversation about the Prime Minister in a Villa top? His politics and how it affects us is a big deal. His wearing a Villa top or showing he follows us isn't in the grand scheme of things.

I see sides forming here  ( a brick wall does,nt have to fall on me ! ) , it all started out a bit one sided but slowly the 'Right minded ' are making themselves heard above the cacophany of abuse  being hurled by the as ever , 'fair minded'  (?) Left . Hurled at a man who cannot defend himself on these pages and who,s Cardinal sin apppears to be , apart from his birth origins, upbringing , Education and his politics (75% of which he had no choice in that all ) ,his audacity to wear the  Colours of one of the most Famous Football Clubs in the World while out jogging .   A Club with whom he has Familial affiliations and has mentioned fondly in various Press interviews .
So....... all those  brave souls , and you know who you are , who put their heads above the parapet and dared to voice (imho )  contrary opinions of a more sober and well reasoned nature , I salute you , I,m with you guys , man the barricades , the Barbarians are at the gate ! ...............Godzvilla!

He was probably wearing it because Sam hadn't done the washing and it was just the first thing to hand from the pile of seldom worn clothes in the bottom of the wardrobe?

With all due apologies to Johnny Marr, David Cameron, stop saying that you like Aston Villa, no you don't. I forbid you to like it.

He's the Prime Minister, he's a Villa fan and he's wearing the shirt.  He'll do for me.

Tell you what - if it was a West Ham/Spurs/Chelsea/Arse shirt, Fleet Street would have the biggest collective hard on ever.

How come you are both still on here and allowed to state your point of view then?
Along with the arch-Tory Risso.

Maybe 'no Tories allowed' is a bit OTT - maybe 'no Tories allowed without it being held against them' !

No, it's Tories absolutely allowed but they need to be able to hold their end of the argument up. Whinging because you think that everyone is against you because you are a Tory shows that you obviously can't manage that.

One more shirt sold, one more pic of it in the papers. I can take Cameron wearing it. It's not as if he's a serial killer.
