I wouldn't want to be kicked from Witney to Aston either....in fact I'd say West Ham IS closer. Hang on....yep 7 miles closer according to AA route planner.

It'll work out the longer jounrey though with the M25, M11 and that fucking island at the top of the Barking Road.

He's a Villa fan? Good for him. He supports the greatest club in the world. Not in the least bit interested about any other issues.

If Acorns get more publicity out of it, then I can (just about) live with it.

I'm surprised anyone on here actually takes seriously something that a politician said!! Or might have said. Or was perhaps quoted as saying.

Anyway, no publicity is bad publicity.....

That lump Sir Digby Jones is a Villa fan. Talks "common sense", pity it is always about some poor buggers losing their job/pension/employment rights etc so theat industry can flourish.

Git.

Thanks to Hansard, a Parliamentary speech made by Cameron in 2001 has come to light. The future PM admits he is not a football fan.

He told the House of Commons: “Many of those who have spoken in the debate or have written about the subject are either lawyers or football fans, but I have to confess that I am neither: I am just a novice parliamentarian who is trying to work out whether the draconian powers in the Bill are really necessary.”

Crikey, can you imagine the shit he would get on here if he supported Manure Chelsea Liverpool? He is a Villa fan as far as i am concerned and i am pleased about it.

What if Nick Griffin decided he was a Villa fan?

Agreed, if he's going to be in a shirt at all i'm just pleased he's in our shirt rather than Spuds, Chelsea, Man U etc.

Perhaps if the political party that so many on here worship hadn't made such a monumental cock up of everything over the last 5 years we'd be able to see Gordon Brown's Raith Rovers XXXXL shirt.  Now there's something to really whinge about.

Then he'd probably get a similar welcome as Jack has.

Cameron on the other hand would probably get the same sort of reaction as Risso.

Over here we have virtually full employment, anyone who wants a job can get one, in fact we don't have enough people to fill all the vacancies, the sun shines most of the year and there are magnificent golf courses all over. Because the present government wants to take more tax of the foreign owned mining companies and tax the big polluters who belch all their crap into the atmosphere they could well lose the next election in a landslide. How can they call Villa supporters fickle compared to that.

Perhaps he's not into consumerism for the sake of it. Though I have absolutely no idea about his views on consumerism. I waver between being a cynical bitch over anying any politician does or says is anything other than self promotion and the fact they might, just might be idealistic enough to believe they're changing the world for the better. If forced to get off the fence I'd go for self promotion.
