Confirmed Rugby V Gornal for me.

See you there then matey - I'll have the European Cup winning shirt on and a scruffy beard with the Gornal fans, come and say hi!

I shall be confined to the press area I'm afraid, working for community radio but I shall keep an eye out for the sacred colours and the not so sacred chin-muff. Your choice of shirt will give me the ideal opportunity to crowbar a completely spurious mention of Villa into the commentary.

I fully expect a YouTube clip of me making it into the commentary.

I'll be at rugby as well, albeit Lydney v Hertford.

This is Rugby Union and therefore counts as Non(Rugby)-League

Went to Ramsbottom Utd v Salford City last night in FA Cup Preliminary Round.  The trophy was on display, the kick-off had to be delayed 15 minutes to get the crowd in, Salford scored in the first minute but Rammy won 2-1 with a 93 minute winner.

Rugby Town 0-0 Gornal Athletic.

What a fantastic match and day out, cracking club and bar at Rugby. Gornal unlucky not to come away with the win, hitting the crossbar in injury time and told by a couple of people at that end of the ground that it was over the line.

Gornal were dead unlucky not to be going back with the prize money.  Enjoyable day from a healthy crowd, many thanks for your attendance and hope you enjoyed yourselves.

Definitely over the line from Gornal at the end today. May go up there for the replay though.

Cheers for a good day Tom, tournament was good fun and the ground & facilities etc are fantastic. Good luck to you.

Stour 2 Chesham 1. A sending-off, a fight on the pitch, a strop after being subbed, 1-0 down 2-1 up and the Stour chicken curry is back on the menu.

We had a decent crowd at Solihull Moors for the visit of Hinckley as they also had a few fans in attendance. We also had lee Hendrie and father watching. we lost 2-1 and that is now 7 losses in 7 games.
