The new stand and the new allotment end are relatively new and were the products of a recent Football Stadia grant.

Any hoooooo.  Leicester City Supporters are in, Coventry City Supporters are in, Rugby Town are in, just waiting for The Villa and N'ton now.

I suggested going to watch Gornal play for Non League Day.

If others are up for the daytrip down to Rugby then I am too.

Thats great news Villa.  Bring any flags/scarves to lift the atmosphere.  Our new away kit this season is claret and blue.....

Cheapest I could find at £6, return to New St at 18:51.  Can return earlier 18:00 at £8.

A deal with the trains is that you can get three tickets for the price of two.  So three people travelling to Rugby would work out at £4 a head.  Bargain!

That's my game sorted then - Rugby v (Hopefully) Gornal it is then.

Sadly though Tom, I'll be "supporting" Gornal as a friend of mine is Chairman.

On an only vaguely connected tip - have you seen when the AFC Telford - Tamworth game actually is Mr Cooper?

Do you think we can do an Easter Monday double header? Villa v Stoke at 3 pm, peg it to Telford for 7.45pm kick off?

I have.
I'd be very surprised if the Telford-Tamuff game wasn't also an afternoon kick-off though.

I was thinking of attending Telford v Stockport the same day Villa are away to Everton if anyone fancies it? Don't think I could take the excitement of seeing The Barcelona of the Potteries AND another game on the same day.

Yeah, might be up for that, haven't got any other plans yet at any rate.

Non League Day @ Rugby Town FC

Coventry are entering a team, Leicester have a team in, as well as Rugby Town.  Brum are considering sending a team.  Where's the Villa?

Tom, I could probably get a team of 7 or 8 to come along, but I can happily leave places to people on this board.
