I'm one of the least pessimistic people on here, but I'm still not going to be doing handstands over beating a team like walsall. In much the same way, I wouldn't be claiming relegation was imminent if we were 2-0 down.

Hopefully Ireland's injury isn't too serious.

its a bit of banter ger, no one is predicting miracles , as much as anything its nice to see the action under way again.

whatever results in friendlies the only real thing that matters is at fulham on opening day of course.
