Definately keep and play with Clark. Give them the 4 and 5 shirts while we're at it too.

As above, just with the 5 and 6 shirts.

IMO He still give the right balance on the right side and central defender. Since we have Luke Young, Collin, Dunne, Warnock as a senior and still have Clark, Lichaj and Baker.
But if we can lure K.Walker back as permanent, we can sell both him and L.Young.

Cuellar is back in training and to let him go for £3m is a no go. Would like him with Collins at the back and Clarke as back up. PS Walker has not yet signed a new contract ? ......

Why sell him for £3 million? It's going to cost more than that to replace him. Unless we think we can get by with one youth player as our back up at centre back.

CUELLAR TOO EXPENSIVE

Ally McCoist has confirmed he is "very keen" to bring Carlos Cuellar back to Rangers, but is unlikely to meet Aston Villa's £3million asking price.

Cuellar left Ibrox to join Villa in 2008 and he has made over 100 appearances during his time with the Premier League club.

However, his future at Villa Park is uncertain following former Gers boss Alex McLeish's appointment as manager and an offer of £1.5million has already been rejected.

Reports suggest Villa want double that amount to sanction Cuellar's sale, but McCoist doubts Rangers will offer that sum for the Spaniard.

"Gordon Smith (director of football) has been talking to Aston Villa about Carlos," said McCoist in the Daily Record.

"I'm very keen for that deal to go through, but I don't think we'd be going as far as £3million to make it happen."

Christophe Berra has been mooted as an alternative option to Cuellar, but McCoist says Gers will not be following up an interest in Wolves' former Hearts centre-half.

The Rangers boss added: "He was a player we looked at but won't be pursuing."

Did McLeish bring Carlos to Rangers or did he at least play under him?

You'd have thought Carlos would be exactly the type of player McCleish would want in his defence. I hope he stays.

I think McLeish did buy him.

Rangers can fuck off, he's worth at least double their ludicrous £1.5m offer. I don't want him to go anyway.

I have no idea how they think that £1.5 million is a reasonable bid - it seems borderline derisory to me! I hope he stays, too, he's a good centre back and, possibly uniquely in that position, a good professional too!

Their Drybread ways are legendary.
They've just offered derisory amounts for Goodwillie from Dundee Utd (£2m) and Lee Wallace from Hearts (£300,000). Wallace is a Scottish international.

They're well known for taking the piss.

It was Walter Smith who signed him.

You really need to be from round these parts to get that joke! Walter Smith is a butcher.
