Dunne played 32 league games in 10/11 so it's not like McAllister brought him in from a bomb squad.

I know it was a few seasons later. But ultimately the damage caused by O'Neil is what led to our relegation. In my opinion. As I have recently intimated on another thread on another site (BBC), if I was asked to list the best managers since Docherty, O'Neil would be somewhere below D O'Leary.

He did more lasting damage for sure mind you O'Leary would have done so given the chance.

MON did the same at Sunderland who in turn replaced him with DiCanio of all people.

MON is an egotistical, alebit meida savvy. pillock who's reputation post Larson inspired Celtic when stripped bare is not all that great.

Yep. Absolutely spunked a golden opportunity after finally getting shot of Ellis and left the cupboard bare for the next man.
