Great post ! I never knew about the muller yoghurt. I had a Julian Joachim one but lost it somehow.
I have bought quite a few villa shirts off eBay in the last few years, some go really cheaply. I really want the hummel ones and the Henson one from the 80 s but they go for silly money really.

I got a load of hummels including goalie tops, tho gna hold them until at least next year as believe that marks 25 years since they made their first Villa kits.

Yeah I dont blame you I would as well. They were my favourite ever kits that we ve had..esp the white away one. They fetch good money on Ebay I think one of the first Hummel home shirts went for about £70 quid a short while back

I love those tops but they always go for huge money on ebay. Definitely getting one after the lotto win

I doubt it. Football wasn't invented until 1992.

In 1987-88 this shirt didn't. The following year was the first year they were used, so there are examples of this shirt with them around.

This one has 16 on the back

That was me, I meant it in a nice way! After all, I spend a lot of my weekends searching out obscure football grounds to watch awful football in.

I went down to the Villa shop a couple of saturdays ago to get my little boy one.  I went with the intention of getting a Marc Albrighton one for him in the hope that one day he might be the new "Goldenballs".

There were loads of Warnock, Beye, etc ones there and then right on the end a white top from a couple of years ago with Albrighton on.

It's only when I got home and started to think about it.  It was a Large with the number 45?  When would that have been then, Europa League?  Considering he's about the size of a 12 year old (Marc that is) a large?

Anyway, my lads chuffed to bits with it, he wanted to take it to school for his "Show and Tell" day.

Bought a Heskey one for the Girlfriends birthday last week from the shop. Wondering why there cheaper to buy than getting a replica shirt with a name and number on the back though :/ Oh well not complaining when heskey lifts the world cup with England it might be worth a few bob.
