Found this one on facebook and has had me in stitches. Hope it catches on (but I know will be dependant on a few good results) :-

To the tune of My old man's a dustman

Big Eck is a Villan, we used to hate his guts, but now he's at a big club, we love his ginger nuts, now he's found redemption, forgiven for his sins, the blues are in the championship still eating out of bins . . . .

Loving it! Judging by the grunt it prompted, even the missus was at least mildly impressed.

To the tune of Madonna's Papa Don't Preach

Alex McLeish, he’s a Villa man
Alex McLeish, please sign Scotty Dann
He took the shite down
And now he’s at the Villa
He’s at the Villa ...

Brilliant choice of tune!

Can I suggest some lyric changes?:

Alex McLeish, Ginger Scot-tish Man,
Alex McLeish, Pissed Off Peter Pan...(oooh!)
But He's Made Up His Mind,
He-eee's Keeping Stuart Downing!
Yeah! He's Gonna Keep Stuart Downing, Yeeeeah! Woooh!

Oh Alex.
