Well, a good start, a few tricky one towards the end and a fucking awful December.

I'm a buig believer in momentum in football and the start gives us all the chance we could ask for to build up a good head of steam anf get some form going.

Over to you, Big Eck......

Yes McLeish built up some nice momentum at BLues last season culminating in their cup win.  Then look what happened.

Don't know if I'm all that positive about the "easy" start. We've had more then a few awful games against inferior teams where we're due to control the game. Got Wigan all too close in memory. Now fans will demand us to win. Would prefer to start with the december clashes instead to remove a bit of pressure from McLeish.

And have fond memories of the last two games from last season.

I turned on SSN to see a guy standing outside the gates at Bodymoor Heath say three times that our fixtures are "Absolutely fascinating" while down the side of the screen it listed them as Fulham, Blackburn, Wolves, Everton etc.

I've now looked through all the fixtures and we're playing all the other Premier League teams both home and away.
Absolutely fascinating!

It's a really good set of fixtures to get started with.

Come on Big Eck, let's get off to a flyer!

Yes no doubt based on our form last season Fulham, Blackburn and Wolves must be shaking in their boots at the prospect of meeting us in one of their first three games!  Hope we do better but unbeaten with at lest one win would suit me, especially with a new manager and new signings bedding in.

December we meet United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea - Stoke and Bolton too. And then end of April and start of March gifts us Arse, Chelsea, Liverpool, Stoke then United.

Lovely.
