Do people understand what the word 'renew' means?

If you don't currently have a season ticket then you can't renew it. So anyone voting 'no' when they don't have one anyway renders it meaningless.

I think some people are in no position to apply intelligence.

The world is ending, hadn't you heard?

It also excludes those who think McLeish would be such a good appointment they'll be rushing down to the ticket office to get a season ticket when they don't currently have one!

I may reduce my annual online Villa mug purchases to one if we get the ginger. If he has us winning our first six games I am willing to order a second parcel. Still undecided about the AVFC badge car freshener though. Depends on how well he does a Mark Anthony on SHA at his press conference.

VCTM jnr starts playing on Saturdays this season , so I asked if he wanted a seasson ticket or play - he thought he would upset me if he gave me a decision I would not like.
I told him to just be straight and say what he wants to do - season ticket kicked well into touch!!
Last night he said he was pleased we were not renewing as McLeish may be manger, although he did go onto say could he watch Liverpool instead.
Will be saving approx £1500 per season.
Have supported Villa since 1962 and seen worse times however I find this whole situation bewildering -  i do have until July 15th to decide so I might be back on here after we have signed Messi (More likely Barton :( )

Not renewing, had already made my mind up before the end of last season. I'm sure I'll go down to quite a few games but wait for the offers instead. I found myself sitting there for a few of the games waiting for it to be over, (Sunderland, wolves, Wigan). Also the people sitting by me are a bunch of idiots and

Renewed x3 on Saturday night. Every season I try and justify the expense and the awful way football is heading but the outcome is always the same.

Might take advantage on the non-renewers to move to better seats just as I did the end of season when DoL got the boot. Every cloud and all that.

If Alex McLeish is manager then I will not be renewing.

We shall ignore the fact that if it was Guardiola or Mourinho I still wouldn't be renewing as I can't afford it as that is less rebellious.

I don't have a season ticket, but I usually manage to get to a bunch of games each season.

I expect I'll manage to get to a bunch of games this coming season.
