I dont think so mr smith, not without any teeth. Have a good day.

Didn't realise you were a dentist. I've got a dull ache just below one of my molars, any ideas?

Got a cist that flares up about once a year below my gum at the back, went to the QE about it a few years ago, the guy there said that they could get it out, but then cheerfully told me that there was a 10% chance of paralysis. No fucking chance.

Did I do the right thing pooligan?

According to the Poll above, it seems that 2 out of 5 "fools" are seriously considering not renewing or taking out a Season Ticket this coming campaign

Half of those voting 'no' probably don't even have season tickets.
The McLeish backlash bought a lot of nutters out of the woodwork.

Do you really think that it's a reliable indicator?

I still can't fathom the sort of reasoning that would let the choice of manager change your mind about going down. Isn't there one part of you that thinks you might be wrong and that he could do a good job for us?

The polls are all flawed due to people pissing about, at least 9 people voted to have Alan Curbishley as our next Manager.

Oh I get it, it's not a reliable indicator

Nutters because they don't now want renew ?

See I don't get this as being totally black and white. I was going to buy 2 this year, but have decided against it. Nothing will stop me going, but I'll go when I feel like it. As mentioned above, if this would have been 10 years ago, then I would have with no question, but this unprecedented approach by this Board have changed quite a few peoples minds.

I don't think that we should tar people as being nutters because they are not renewing because of McLeish, because the opposition is on different fronts. Some because he came from them, other because the Board have re-aligned their "Bright Future" along with the farcical rhetoric that they have published recently and others that think that plain and simple think that he's not a very good manager based on his managerial Career so far.

It's an indicator as good as any at the moment.

As for me, I think that he can do no more than an OK job.

I renewed a couple of weeks ago. Is there any way of telling how many actually renew/don't renew - i.e. anywhere we can get figures for ST's sold last year vs those sold this year?

It's not any sort of indication though, is it. Anyone can click on that, they don't have to live in the country or even be a Villa fan.

Nutters because they don't now want renew ?

No no no Lee, you get me wrong. Anyone who is sufficiently pissed off with this appointment or the board or just football in general is perfectly entitled to make that decision, I have no problem whatsoever with that.
I was thinking of the amount of people who will have seen the poll and clicked on 'no' because "He's a fucking Bluenose ****** and I don't want him at The Villa" whether they have a ST or not or whether they intend to renew or not.
Nutters in other words.

That sums up my feelings on it better than I could have hoped to.

Incidentally, I'd wager that the poll being set up so soon after the news broke would have also skewed the figures somewhat. I have a sneaking suspicion that some of those who voted no genuinely thought that they wouldn't, but have had (or will have) a change of heart. I'm not saying that your standpoint isn't valid lee, but in the heat of the moment, I'd say a few people would have said things without fully thinking it through.

Your entitled to what  you think, but it works both ways. It's never completely indicative, but to discount it would be wrong.

You don't get why people are not renewing and that's fair enough, and Villa will chuck out some spin out about sales figures, but they haven't had their finger on the so far so I don't expect them to do now

I don't think they will need to spin too much, I fully expect ST sales to be roughly where they were last season.
We live in a bubble of righteous indignation here on t'internet at times.
