I can understand the idea of being loyal and backing whoever the manager is, but actually thinking it is a good idea is another matter surely?

I didn't see much determination when they were in a relegation battle. He managed to get them relegated twice on said budget. Gardner and Ridgewell were no different at Villa, they just look better now because they are surrounded by shite players.

We should give our owner a bit more credit. Despite a couple of minor mistakes, he has done nothing but to give to the Villa and still people show this amount of disrespect to him. He isn't perfect but he ain't stupid either.

You cannot seriously argue that Gardner is not doing better at Blues? 9 goals in a season and undoubtedly one of the few rays of hope they had at staying up.

there's certain things you don't do. Poaching your scummy neighbour's shite manager direct is one. A player? possibly. A manager who's been at another club in the meantime and who's actually a very good manager? of course. Mcliesh would have to win the league to be even given the benefit of the doubt and the first bad performance and the knives will be out - this of course is a major problem as Mcliesh specialises in bad performances. Lerner would have to be a complete dickhead to consider it. I'll guess we'll find out soon.
