I've genuinely always liked McLeish as a manager, probably because of my liking for Rangers. When we appointed Houllier I'd have been delighted with McLeish. Now he's relegated Blues I'm not so certain. I'm willing to give him a chance though.

Would not be happy in the slightest. Nothing to do with the fact that he was the Blues manager, couldn't give less of a shit about that, but because his sides play turgid football and he managed to get Blues relegated twice! I just don't think he's a very good manager.

I think we should have a little more faith in the board. Appointing Mcleish would be catastrophic and surely the board can see that.
Perhaps Mcleish has heard the Everton job may become available (Moyes to Villa) so resigned?? We can only hope!
