can anyone explain why Paul Mortimer was seemingly hated? He only lated 3 months at the club as well!

From memory he thought he was far, far better than he actually was and as such didn't need to put the required effort in. He was getting a bit of stick from the crowd because of this and turned around and gave the wankers sign.
