Makoun is clearly our best central midfielder.
Agreed.

If only we had Scotty Parker to play with him in midfield...

Watching how tired we look is making me feel tired again!

Chelsea have looked a lot sharper, while we looked spent after 15 minutes.

Parker and Makoun just seems so obvious!

Ah, we can dream.

1st time seeing Gardner.

He has a real determination about him and good quality against a good Chelsea side.

Lets just admit it Chelsea are superior to us at winning Asian Cups.

Gardener and Bannan have both done well since coming on.

we looked like we were walking around the pitch from the first 30 seconds.  I think the boys have been low on energy the entire game, and they didn't give a shit about the result.

Agreed.

They've conquered Asia.

We've conquered Europe.

I know which I prefer.

I'm not surprised to be honest.

I was in Thailand recently and just walking up the stairs in the evening used to drain me.

I can see that bell end Scudamore getting ideas about this.

Hey-ho. Second best by a long way. Think we need to get a dominant CM. Parker would be worth it for me. Not sure who else would fit the bill

Personally I like the look at the end with Makoun, Bannan, Gardner ok they were all fresh but they actually looked like they understood each other!

Being a student of 'sports psychology' we looked tired and a bit down during the handshakes!
