Back away from this now before it's too late. All the good work over the last few years will count for nothing if this pioneer of shit football is appointed. This will never be forgiven or forgotten. Dont do it Doug...errr...Randy!

birmingham will do everything they can , to stop mcleish being Villa manager...    this is the first time in my life I have been behind blose , come on you tossers , stop him from coming.

If they hated us they would let him come for free.  They must love us really under all that angry pretence.

With the way Pannu has been shooting his mouth off before and after Mcleish's resignation. I am sure AM will have enough evidence to win his constructive dismissal case.

If he comes i will view next season in the same way i used to view Evil Kneival jumping over canyons in the 70's -  You know its madness but you just have to watch. Unfortunately the updated version is one of the hairy bikers on a moped. Personally i think it will be a disaster but i will watch with my jaw dislocated

Why they think Mcliesh is a goer, i can only put down to culteral differences - in yankland sporting clubs are thought of nothing more than Business franchises - employing the cook as coach or moving to another city is thought as par for the course. Over here, appointing Mcliesh will be remembered and held against Lerner for as long as he's in charge and longer. I give the "experiment" till christmas maximum - i reckon he'll need to have us in the top6 or higher to keep his job. A level of expectation not even MON was burdened with.

On the plus side i pocketed 250 quid down the pub quiz , so every cloud.....

McLeish actually took the time to visit Houllier in hospital when he was ill.

If it comes to pass the one conclusion i can come to is that Randy wants a cheap option until he can sell out. I don't support football protests but i can well understand those that would take to the streets over this, this would be the biggest sell out of the fans in our history, no more dreams of Europe, no more attractive football. I desperately wanted to get MON out but i would welcome him back if he was the only other option. I can only think that we had explored and been rejected over the last few weeks so we tapped up the worst manager in the league.

Not so sure, I think they will do everything they can to get as much money as they can. They are skint and we can haggle down I am sure. I hope I am wrong but money is probably their main focus now. I just cannot believe we would pay them for him. But then I cannot believe we are even considering interviewing him.

My guess is that his spell will be similar to Hodgson's at Liverpool. But maybe last a little longer as Randy seems to be patient with his managers.
