Guys help me here;

These managers are all "available";

Frank Rijkaard
Bernd Schuster
Louis Van Gaal
Quique Sánchez Flores

Yet we are interviewing Alex McLeish.. Wake up please its not a dream...This is reality and the mighty Aston Villa are about to "interview" a manager when the above are ALL available..

You have a MASSIVE voice on a fan forum site...Flipping use it and save our club please...

Are you bloody well obsessed man? You're like a stuck record.

I agree with your poiunt but we've had 659 threads to do with managers and it can be covered in here.

How can it?

How can the club get an idea from "this thread" that the majority of Villa fans do not think that Premiership Experiance is all that neccessary for the managerial appointment?

Which is the "main thing" holding us back getting a decent manager....

Do you understand that Moyes, Ancelotti, Martinez, Benitez etc etc have most probrably been tried BEFORE McLeish? The club are scraping the Premiership Experianced Barrel..Because they think its highly important. ::)

I think it's only normal that Eiresvillan and others are getting very emotional about what is happening - I'm still in state of shock and dis-belief. We care about this club and cannot see why the board would want to interview AM, let alone appoint him. I have nothing against the bloke or not bothered he has worked over at Castle Greyskull, I can't see how Randy and his staff think he is the right man for the job, it's beyond belief.

Of course im emotional...Villa is blood, its family..

I just know damn well that if the club announces it is longer interested in McLeish, the next guy on the list is gonna be Southgate or Curbishley.. Purely because as ive listed above "they are scaping the Premiership Experianced" barrel.. :-\

just the one little glimmer of hope is still this thing with Hughes. Not allowed to speak to anyone for a month, us dragging our feet, interviewing and then, hopefully, not appointing anyone. Apparantly we were dead keen to get him this time last year.  Could this all be a ploy to make Hughes appointment really popular. Probably not.

Pannu doesn't seem all that intelligent to me and think he has no chance with the Premier League to accuse us of tapping up.

Just on Radio5 that Blues are launching a complaint alleging that Villa "tapped up" their manager....!

I hope they succeed and Premier League immediately step in and stop this illegal move by  the Villa  to undermine another  Football club.

Never in a million years did I think I would say this but 'I'm supporting small heath with this'

Ruud Gullit is available, I suppose he'll be the next one to get the job, Listen to talk shite tomorrow morning to hear Ruud is the favourite to the job... (big laughing winky thingy with dreadlocks)

Dutch legend Ruud Gullit's managerial career at Terek Grozny ended dramatically on Tuesday when Ramzan Kadyrov the strongman of Chechnya accused him of being a playboy and sacked him for losing a must-win match.

If we appoint Ruud all training sessions will be in the Rocket Club.

Would like Bob.  And he'd bring cheerleaders with him, which would make a big difference on the threads, or maybe I'm just being post-ironic.

The way this nightmare is going it would be Aaron Hughes to fill in at right back until Agent Ridgewell returns to base.

Yeah, with Mark Kinsella directing operations from midfield by standing there and pointing.
